Sacramento Employment & Training Agency (SETA)

SETA, a joint powers agency of the City and County of Sacramento, was formed in 1978. From its inception SETA has been an effective force in connecting people to jobs, business owners to quality employees, education and nutrition to children, assistance to refugees, and hope to many Sacramento area residents. SETA is the local America's Job Center of California (AJCC) operator and administers the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act funds, as well as other state and federal funds including the Head Start, Community Services Block Grant, and Refugee Social Services programs. There are thirteen (13) neighborhood-based AJCCS in Sacramento County that play an important role in workforce development for development for both job seekers and employers.
