Sierra Business Council

Our organization is a 501c3 nonprofit focused on climate resilience, community prosperity and sustainable economic development. SBC has worked in the region for nearly 30 years and is well connected with the community benefit organizations, local jurisdictions and under-served populations, particularly in the foothill regions of Nevada, Placer and El Dorado counties. Our organization brings to the table expertise in climate vulnerability for disinvested communities and innovative economic development strategies. SBC is the administrator or the Sierra Economic Development District and wrote the CEDS for a portion of the Sacramento Valley CERF region.
