Know originally as the Lake Tahoe Adult Education Consortium, Advance has evolved and grown to meet the unique needs of our community. We do this by focusing on helping adults meet career and educational goal as well as provide employers with the resources need to hire, train, and retain employees in the Tahoe Basin. We also serve as an incubator for new services, resources, and policy, especially with our key partners at Lake Tahoe Community College, El Dorado County Office of Education, Alpine County office of Education, and Golden Sierra Job Training Agency. Our organization brings to the table 6+ years of Basin experience and over 20 years of director experience in building partnerships and providing innovative and personalized solutions to individuals, employers, and communities. We have demonstrated expertise in building systemic relationships and approaches and are often cited as a model of best and innovative practices for education, workforce, and community development.
