City of Elk Grove

Elk Grove is a young, ethnically diverse, economically strong city of approximately 180,000 people that was incorporated in the year 2000. As the second largest city in the Sacramento region Elk Grove plays a strong leadership role in regional economic development decision making and project delivery. As such, we are committed to furthering a regional framework for economic decisions and projects that benefits the Sacramento region in an inclusive manner and by extension the City of Elk Grove and all of south Sacramento County. Our organization brings experience with inclusive economic growth, innovation and job creation, along with a strong focus on the environment and sustainability, to support the high road transition goals for the CERF planning process.
