Opening Doors

Opening Doors supports immigrants, refugees, and survivors of trafficking on their path to stability, self-sufficiency and belonging through 5 program areas: Refugee resettlement and case management, immigration legal services, support to survivors of human trafficking, mental health programs, and our economic prosperity programs. Under our economic prosperity work, we support immigrants and refugees on career pathways through paid employment as well as through microlending and business technical advising. Opening Doors has deep relationships with immigrant and refugee communities that are historically less engaged. We serve diverse populations, including immigrants and refugees originally from Afghanistan, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Iraq, Mexico, the Philippines, Russia, Syria, and Ukraine. We provide services in both Sacramento and Sutter County, and have experience working successfully in cross-sector collaboration.
