Sacramento Alliance for Regional Arts

Sacramento Alliance for Regional Arts (SARA) leads the greater Sacramento community to advocate for an equitable, vibrant, and creative region. SARA achieves this mission by promoting arts education, cultural equity in the creative sector, and recognition and support for artists and arts organizations in the Greater Sacramento Region. Our organization brings to the table a board of directors representing a combined several decades of excellence in arts advocacy, administration, and arts creation representing four regional counties, Sacramento, Yolo, Placer, and El Dorado. SARA’s members total more than 60 arts organizations from all disciplines and backgrounds through the greater Sacramento region and over 75 individual members including, artists, educators, volunteers, curators, directors, administrators, musicians, and more.
