Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation

Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation is a 501C3 with a mission to support our local community hospital through philanthropy, volunteerism, and community education. Our vision is to be a bridge between the hospital and community to create an environment where philanthropy flourishes for a vibrant healthcare system. We also represent the Hospital in the community to help be an advocate and ambassador in our region. Our organization brings to the table a vast amount of relationships with key stakeholders in the western Nevada County region that are essential for community engagement. We have a tremendous amount of experience in capacity building and bringing local agencies and nonprofits together for collaborative projects. For example, through grant funding we helped create the Nevada County Health Collaborative which is a ten agency network for shared services for healthcare
