Town of Truckee

The Town of Truckee is charter city with a population of 17,000 in eastern Nevada County. The Town provides a variety of services for the Truckee community, including land use planning, building, road maintenance, police services, and economic development. We believe it is critical to ensure that the CERF planning process considers the economic and regional diversity of the eight-county Sacramento region, including our rural areas and the High Sierra region in which Truckee in located. Our organization brings to the table extensive experience and partnerships working on economic development and business support with local organizations and businesses in the Truckee-Tahoe Basin subregion.
