On July 21, 2022, Valley Vision held the third meeting for the California Jobs First (CERF) Backbone Support & Governance Subcommittee. The meeting included a presentation in which Valley Vision shared the changes made to the proposed governance structure and then solicited any remaining feedback from the group.

On February 7, 2023, Valley Vision hosted a roundtable on California Jobs First (Community Economic Resilience Fund) for Nevada County.

Our first official Collaborative meeting kicked off with the “Summer of Collective Learning” series featuring a presentation from guest speaker Dr. Manuel Pastor. We made some major announcements regarding changes to the California Jobs First (CERF) program and other updates.

The Summer of Collective Learning session featured a panel of Economic Development Pilot Project awardees discussing innovative projects advancing California Jobs First.

The session featured the Salinas Inclusive Economic Development Initiative and collaborative partners with Mujeres en Acción learning about their efforts to influence inclusive recovery and economic development.
