Paul Bancroft is a born and raised North Lake Tahoe resident. After completing undergraduate studies for a BA in Spanish at Montana State University and graduate studies for an MA in Latin American and Iberian Studies with an emphasis on Adult Literacy at University California Santa Barbara, he returned to Tahoe to begin his career with what is now Sierra Community House. He has been with Sierra Community House for 15 years and has been the Executive Director for 7 years. Paul lives in Truckee with his wife and two children. He serves as an elected official as a Board Trustee for Sierra College. When not working, he is mountain biking, fly fishing or Nordic skiing.
