Our Governance Structure

We Prosper Together is helping the Capital Region focus and invest in these strategic sectors, chosen based on regional strengths, community needs, climate considerations, and long-term market projections. The goal isn’t just to grow the economy, but to make sure it works better for everyone in the region.

It is equally important to grow sectors and increase the number of quality jobs while ensuring that community members have the skills, services, and infrastructure needed to access and thrive in these positions. This effort must prioritize the experiences and needs of disinvested communities, who are often excluded from decision-making processes and the benefits of economic growth. We Prosper Together developed based Economic Mobility Strategies on in-language community outreach, cost of living analyses, and insights from the Inclusive Economy Poll.

How We’re Structured

With the Collaborative, Committees, and Valley Vision serving as the backbone, We Prosper Together is rooted in the expertise and ideas of the communities that make up our region and grounded by shared values.

Our Collaborative

We Prosper Together is driven by a diverse collaborative of organizations, businesses, government entities, community members, and other stakeholders from across the region, representing a wide array of communities, industries, locations, and demographics.

Committees

On July 24, 2025, the We Prosper Together Leadership Council convened for its final meeting. During this gathering, members were recognized for their contributions with certificates of recognition and received an Impact Report highlighting their collective accomplishments.

Following this milestone, We Prosper Together transitioned to a committee-based structure. These committees serve in an advisory role, helping our region stay accountable to its commitments to create accessible, living-wage jobs.

Below is the list of our committees.

Valley Vision

Valley Vision serves as the regional convener and backbone support for We Prosper Together. Valley Vision is bringing together partners to lead this work and ensuring that the goals and values of We Prosper Together are met.
A regional nonprofit civic leadership organization based in Sacramento, Valley Vision has focused on improving the livability of the Capital Region for 30 years through research, collaboration, and action.

Community Ambassadors
